
Concentrate helps you work and study more productively by eliminating distractions.
To start, create an activity (design, study, write, etc) and choose actions (shown below) to run every time you concentrate. When ready, just click “concentrate.” All your distractions will disappear and a timer will appear to help you stay focused.
Is it douchey that I downloaded this? These kinds of tools seem to be something that my hero Merlin Mann is trying to shy away from. Or at least the need to obsess about productivity tools like this.

JustNotes aims to be a straight forward and easy to use notes application for the Mac. Not only that, but it provides built in syncing with Simplenote, which I have written about a few times here. If I am correct, this is the first native Mac application to provide this feature integration. Worth a look indeed.
Simplenote is a really smart note-taking app for the iphone that does away with the crappy font used in the default iPhone notes app. The fact that it syncs via the cloud to a desktop app makes it even more of a must have for your home screen.
